Samuel Walters

Services for Samuel Joseph Walters, 23, of Placerville were conducted Saturday at Chapel of the Pines. Pastor James Hill officiated, with a eulogy by Norton Freeland. Burial was in the Alexander family plot in Swansboro.

Mr. Walters, a woodcutter, died April 18 of natural causes at a local hospital.

A native of New Jersey, Mr. Walters lived in El Dorado County for 12 years. He lived in California 17 years.

Mr. Walters is survived by his wife Robin and sons Joseph and Ryan, all of Placerville. He was the son of Gerry and Sandra Sartor of Washington. He was the brother of Samuel Walters of Washington, Julie Sartor, Dina Sartor, Rick Sartor, Paul Sartor and Lisa Sartor, all of Washington, and Lynne Sartor and Kim Sartor, both of Los Angeles.
